This Privacy Policy explains what data JumpStudy AI collects, why, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as possible and to be clear about the rest.

This document is a plain language template provided for transparency while JumpStudy AI is prelaunch. It is not legal advice and will be reviewed and finalized with counsel before public launch.

01 Information we collect

When you join the waiting list we collect the email address you submit and basic technical metadata (timestamp, source) so we can contact you and prevent abuse.

When the product launches and you create an account, we will additionally process the study materials you choose to upload (notes, screenshots, files), your questions to the tutor, and usage activity needed to provide the service.

02 How we use information

  • To operate the waiting list and notify you when access opens.
  • To provide tutoring, generate quizzes/flashcards, and personalize review.
  • To improve quality, reliability, and safety of the product.
  • To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

03 AI processing

To answer questions and explain concepts, your prompts and the materials you provide may be processed by our own and third party AI model providers under contractual confidentiality and security terms. We do not sell your personal information.

04 Data sharing

We share data only with service providers (hosting, infrastructure, model providers, payments) that process it on our behalf under appropriate agreements, or where required by law.

05 Data retention & deletion

Waiting list entries are kept until launch or until you ask us to remove them. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request export or deletion at any time by contacting us.

06 Security

We use industry standard safeguards including encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and least privilege server credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but protecting your data is a priority.

07 Your rights

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

08 Children

JumpStudy AI is intended for students using it in line with their school's policies. If you are under the age required for consent in your region, use the service only with parental or guardian involvement.

09 Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated before they take effect.
